It is a matter of an immense joy and pride for me to present this website dedicated to Maharashtra. Now, it will be much easier for me to reach out to you and so will be easy for you to communicate with me.

Many would ask, why a strong Marathi protagonist like me should have an English version of my website. The answer is simple – I am not against any particular language or any particular linguist group. What I oppose is using the language to create a political pressure group.

Second, and more important, reason is that this website will open a direct communication channel between you and me. Currently your opinion of me is based on ‘information’ fed to you by a news channel or a newspaper. That precisely has been my problem area, to tell you honestly. Whatever ‘news’ you have been provided with by these channels and newspapers is actually far from being news. They are views, corrupt and biased which blur your vision of me. The website will remove these ‘middle-men’ meddling between you and me. It will help both of us understand each other.

This is of paramount importance for you and me both at a time when the electronic media, especially non-Marathi channels, is busy spreading anti-Marathi, and so anti-MNS, propaganda. All our efforts to present the MNSs’ correct viewpoint before them have been proved futile. So the website will be critical to our direct communication.

In fact for a while I had thought of coming out with our own newspaper. But it makes sense to wait for a while in the current market conditions. I promise to present you a newspaper that will take journalism to newer heights. Until such time, the website will fill the void.

I'm sure you would appreciate the efforts of colleagues that have gone behind making the website. Unlike other political parties, I wanted my website not only me-and-my-party type. My idea of the MNS website is to present an authentic reference point on Maharashtra, its culture, socio-politico ethos, economics etc. These objectives, I believe, have largely been met.

Nevertheless, if you notice any lacunae or shortcomings about the site, you certainly can write to me. Your valuable suggestions and inputs are always welcome.

I take this opportunity to brief you about my party and its agenda. The MNS is not like any other political party with a narrow vision. It's been my mission to work for the betterment of Marathi Manoos, Marathi language, the State and the overall Marathi culture. My political vision reaches far beyond mere electoral politics. It encompasses all aspects of life like culture, business and social spheres and will support Marathi businessmen, professionals and other Marathi ventures.

Anyone - individual or a party - coming in its way will be dealt with firmly by men. This is essential since every other political party is busy ignoring Maharashtra's interests. My sole aim has been - and will be - to thwart all attempts to undermine Maharashtra, be it the issue of mindless migration or anti-Maharashtra lobbies in Delhi and elsewhere. This also gives me an opportunity to clear the air about me and my party. Let me state that I'm per se not against north-Indians living in the State. But I am terribly against those coming to Maharashtra with certain political agenda.

I believe it's my Divine Duty to stand and fight for the Marathi cause. I need and earnestly seek your support in this endeavour. Let's join hands to make Maharashtra a true Maharashtra.
